No matter what your long-term goals are, an internship is an investment in your future. Here at SSI, you will learn valuable personal skills such as teamwork, planning, problem solving, time management, and verbal communication.

You will be part of a supportive team environment as you gain valuable professional experience with database management, phone and email communication, date entry, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite. There is also potential for experience with Adobe Photoshop and other mass media editing software. These are skills that will stand out on your resume and can give you a professional edge over your peers.

Most importantly, you can be confident that your time as an SSI intern is a purpose-filled investment. The many different parts of SSI are united by a common goal: to empower teens to reach their fullest God-given potential and to change their world.

SSI offers three internship time frames.

• Autumn Semester: September-December
• Spring Semester: January-April
• Summer Semester: May-August

Interns must adjust and adhere to the demands of each season in which the organization functions. Learning how to balance the workloads is essential, and at a place like SSI, the atmosphere and amount of work changes frequently.

Because SSI works with students from a variety of educational backgrounds, we can be flexible regarding the length of your internship and how many hours per week you can come in.
