To pay online, follow the link in the email you received after you registered (“LEAD 2026: Second Payment Link”) with a link to the payment portal.

Cancellations and Refunds: Full refunds are available if we are notified at least four weeks before the week of LEAD the camper is registered for, and partial refunds are available up to two weeks before the week of camp registered; after which dates, no refunds will be permitted.

Food Allergies, Medications, and Additional Accommodations: If you have any changes to Food allergies or medications please contact our office least two weeks prior to the start of the camp.

Schedule Information

  • Check-in is from 5:00-6:00pm at Spring Arbor University (106 E Main St, Spring Arbor, MI 49283). Please contact us if you are delayed. Campers who arrive after 6:00pm will take their luggage directly to orientation and unpack later.

  • Camper orientation begins at 6:15pm at the Ralph Carey Forum in the Kresge Student Life Center.

  • Parent Meeting begins at 6:15pm in the Den in the Kresge Student Life Center. All parents are welcome; new parents encouraged to attend.

  • Dinner on Sunday will be at 8pm. Campers may want to eat dinner before they arrive.

  • Closing Ceremony (Disorientation) begins 4:30pm on Friday at the White Auditorium where we end the week with a Journalism broadcast, worship, and testimonies.

  • Camper Check-out starts at 5:30pm on Friday. Immediately after the Closing Ceremony, campers will then be dismissed to pack their belongings. All campers must have their room checked out by a crew member prior to leaving campus. Before leaving campus, both the camper and parent (or approved pick-up individual) need to check out with an SSI staff member. This is to confirm that your camper is being released to an approved individual. To add approved pick-up individuals, please email us at LEAD@leadmich.org.

  • Visiting Campus: Outside of the specific camper presentations listed, parents and outside visitors are not allowed on campus without contacting LEAD Staff first. Please call 517-321-6233 to arrange this ahead of time.

Camper Presentations

Family and friends are invited and encouraged to watch any and all camper presentations throughout the week. See below for presentation information for each track.

Suggested Packing List

Dress Code

LEAD is designed to challenge teens to a higher standard of maturity and professionalism even through our dress code. Campers are required to abide by the LEAD Dress Code. We recognize that families have different tastes, views, and convictions on what constitutes professional and appropriate dress. We seek to maintain a level of professionalism through our dress code out of respect for one another and our guest speakers and instructors, which include Supreme Court justices, state legislators, and more. If you have any questions about our dress code, you can call the SSI office at (517) 321-6233.

You can pre-order a 4x6 group photo (goofyserious, or both!) by filling out this form below. Photos are $5 each and will be distributed after the Closing Ceremony each week. Pre-ordering is recommended but a limited amount of will be available for purchase at the Closing Ceremony.
