We are currently looking for a new Director of Outreach. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an amazing ministry focused on building the Kingdom one teen at a time.

Director of Outreach Job Description

SSI is seeking a team member who is relational, mission-driven, and energized by inviting others into God’s work through this ministry. The ideal candidate loves connecting with people, communicating vision, and cultivating partnerships that expand the ministry’s impact and reach.

Responsibilities

This full-time position works closely with the President to increase the ministry’s visibility and strengthen its financial foundation.

Description of Duties

• Build and nurture relationships with donors, churches, alumni, and community partners.
• Raise awareness of SSI’s mission through presentations, events, outreach initiatives, and strategic communication. Collaborate to ensure consistent, compelling communication of SSI’s mission and impact through social media, mailings, and other means.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies, donor cultivation, and campaigns.
• Lead the ministry’s grant writing efforts; research opportunities and prepare proposals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the following areas:
  • Ministry or nonprofit work
  • Customer or donor relations
  • Fundraising or development/grant writing
  • Event planning or community engagement

Salary

• Compensation will be based on relevant experience, among other factors.
