Merry Christmas from SSI!

Merry Christmas!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and
his
name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

In the midst of the confusion, turmoil, and strife that is so prevalent in our world today, we must not be among those who despair or lose hope! Let us fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, who is Lord of Heaven and earth. He is the King of Kings and He rules the nations with a rod of iron. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

In the meantime, as those who have already bowed our knee and received His grace, we rejoice that our names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. And let us pray without ceasing, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Our prayer for you in this Christmas season comes from Romans 15:13.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so
that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
